1. Benefits of Tulsi for cough -
 Basil is an important ingredient in cough syrup.  But instead of buying syrup, you can make a good home medicine at home which will be equally effective.  Add eight basil leaves and five cloves to a cup of water and boil it for ten minutes. You can also add some salt according to taste.  Let it cool down and then drink it to relieve cough. For sore throat due to cough, gargle with boiled water with basil leaves. Tulsi is also an effective treatment for bronchitis and other respiratory problems like asthma.

 Basil leaves can be used in the treatment of fever and colds.  Chew some fresh basil leaves to relieve cold and cold. During the rainy season, there is a risk of malaria and dengue fever.  In such a situation, after boiling in water, take soft basil leaves. It will protect you from this type of fever.

Basil also protects against chemical stress in your body parts.  Health experts recommend chewing 10 to 12 leaves of basil, twice a day, to prevent stress-related diseases. You can also purify your blood by chewing tulsi leaves daily.

4. Tulsi to enhance immune system -

 Eating fresh basil leaves regularly will boost your immune system.  Tulsi is also used to treat respiratory disorders - asthma is one of them.  It also helps in treating other problems such as bronchitis and lung infections, which are mainly due to weak immune system.  Studies show that various chemical compounds in Tulsi increase the production of infection-fighting antibodies by up to twenty percent in the body.  For best results, use fresh basil leaves instead of dried basil leaves.

5. Basil(tulsi) juice benefits for eyes -

 Hundred grams of fresh basil leaves give the appropriate daily dose of vitamin A.  Vitamin A has antioxidant properties and is essential for healthy eyesight (eyes). Fresh basil juice (extract) is good for inflammation of the eyes and night blindness which is usually due to vitamin A deficiency.  For swelling of the eyes, before going to bed every day, add two drops of black basil juice to the affected eye.

 The method of making basil extracts is very easy.  Pour some basil leaves in hot water and cover it for five to ten minutes, then sieve it.

6. Medicinal properties of Tulsi for oral health

 Basil is also good for oral health.  It helps in fighting bad breath, pyorrhea and various other gum diseases.  It also has properties that make the gums strong. However, basil also contains some components such as mercury, which have rich germicidal properties that may prove harmful to teeth if kept in direct contact for long periods of time.  Put fresh basil leaves in the sun for a day or two. After the leaves dry, make their powder and use it to brush your teeth. You can also make a natural toothpaste by mixing the powder with mustard oil. You can also use it to massage your gums to get rid of bad breath.

7. Use of Tulsi for face or skin -

 This herb prevents pimples and accelerates the healing process of acne wounds.  The juice of fresh basil leaves helps to remove bacteria from the skin, which are the main reason for the closure of skin pores and acne.  If you already have acne, apply basil juice on the affected area to destroy bacteria. Tulsi can also be used to treat other skin problems such as herpes, psoriasis and insect bites.  Fresh basil juice reduces and relieves inflammation and irritation of the skin. It also makes your skin soft, supple and healthy.

8. Tulsi tea is a treatment for headaches - 

 Tulsi is a good medicine for headache because it relaxes the muscles.  Applying basil and sandalwood paste on the forehead immediately relieves tension and pain caused by tight muscles.  Alternatively, you can drink tulsi tea twice a day. To make basil tea, put some fresh tulsi leaves in a cup of boiling water and leave it for a few minutes.  Then sieve the tea. Drink tea comfortably and your headache will disappear gradually. For mild headache, you can chew some fresh basil leaves or massage your scalp with pure basil oil.


9. Benefits of Tulsi for skin infection -

 Basil also has antibiotic properties, which help in treating infections.  Basil leaves prevent the growth of bacteria from growing. Grind 250 grams of basil leaves with sesame oil and boil it in equal amounts, this is a simple method that can help treat infections like itching.  Mix equal quantity of basil leaves with lemon juice, this mixture helps to cure ringworm. You can make a paste of basil leaves (mixed with water) with gram flour and apply it on the skin to keep it clean. Applying this paste enhances the skin.

10. Medicinal properties of Tulsi for stomach ache - 

 Basil is also good for your digestive system.  You can extract basil juice from its leaves and use it to treat stomach ache or cramps.  Use one teaspoon of basil juice, mixed with equal amount of ginger juice, to immediately reduce stomach pain.  Apart from this, you can also drink basil tea to reduce other common stomach related problems like constipation, indigestion, hemorrhoids, acidity or menstrual / menstrual pain.

11. Eating Tulsi for Cancer - Basils leaves for Cancer -
