These are essential fatty acids that are associated with low levels of unhealthy LDL cholesterol and high levels of healthy HDL cholesterol.  As a result, monounsaturated fat intake in cashew is associated with a lower risk of heart disease (Chris-Atherton, 1999).

4. Cashews are an excellent source of antioxidants, antioxidants, compounds that combat oxidative damage in the cell.  Antioxidants sweep through the cell, neutralizing free radicals that can cause cellular damage. Vitamin E and K are some of the most powerful antioxidants.  Cashew contains both vitamin K, helping your body fight oxidative damage.

5. Cashew does not contain cholesterol, cholesterol is a waxy compound that accumulates in the blood, forming plaque that can restrict the functioning of the heart.  Avoiding cholesterol in your diet can be a healthy option that promotes optimal blood circulation. Cashew contains no cholesterol, which makes them an exceptionally heart-healthy alternative.
